The BPDE-DNA adducts present in the sample or standard are probed with an Anti-BPDE-I Antibody, followed by an HRP Conjugated Secondary Antibody. The assay is based on the Ferric Reducing/Antioxidant Ascorbic Acid (FRASC) chemistry driven by the electron donating reducing power of antioxidants.
